Jamee-Leigh Hypnotherapy
Jamee-leigh
I first came into this line of work by studying psychology as an undergraduate at the University of Lincoln. I then went on to work as a drug and alcohol intervention worker to gain some experience supporting people with addictions. As I enjoyed helping people I then decided to complete a Masters in Psychology and began working in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in the psychology team. During my time at CAMHS I went on to study a PGCert in low intensity CBT and I also completed a course on trauma focused CBT. I am currently working as a clinical supervisor as part of the Mental Health Support Team trailblazer as my day job. I trained to become a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist in 2019-2020. I have not looked back since and I am thoroughly enjoying seeing the changes this therapy can make to peoples lives.
My hobbies and interests include training my young horse Marriette (Mimi), cycling, running and in the summer months I have now found a new love of gardening. Family time is very important to me and I also have a fascination in spirituality and religion.
The therapy room
I operate from my own home in Grimsby and have a private room dedicated to therapy sessions. I tend to use a couch for therapy sessions though there is also the option of remaining seated during hypnotherapy sessions. I also provide virtual sessions so you can access support in the comfort of your own home.
Should you require any further adjustments for accessibility these will be accommodated to the best of our ability.
